Another masterpiece by Mary Freerks,
quilted with Kim Diamond's Blowing Leaves
pattern. Congratulations, Mary!
Joanne Hamann created this
Christmas tree skirt. This is a picture
after quilting but before she put on
binding and cut the hole for the tree.
BJ Cormier pieced this quilt. The
picture was taken before binding was
added. The quilting is customized and
has a different pattern for each of the
two borders.
This quilt was made by Donna Gunter
using an assortment of novelty prints,
including a spot of UT and University of
Nebraska fabrics. The quilting pattern
used was Stars & Loops by Linda
Taylor.
Joanne Hamann created this baby quilt
using an assortment of novelty prints.
Linda Taylor's Stars & Loops quilting
pattern was used on this quilt.
Sarah Jakobeit of Taylor, TX created a
fall scene complete with chickens
which we quilted with a "blowing
leaves" pattern by Kim Diamond.
Sandra Lowell is the creator of this
charming Christmas quilt. She chose a
swirl pattern that radiates from the
center of each star.
Mary Freerks used a pattern from one
of Pat Speth's Nickel Quilts books to
make this great scrap quilt. One of her
secrets: "always put a little bit of yellow
in your scrap quilts for sparkle". The
quilting design is Coxcomb by Kim
Diamond.
Kathy Anderson made this quilt for a
friend. See the label we made using
EQ6 software. We provided the
quilting (using the popular "Sticky
Buns" pattern) and sewed on the
binding. What a lucky friend!
Gwen Caviness of Killeen completed this
beautiful quilt at a quilting retreat in Salado
just in time for Christmas. We made a pieced
backing using her red fabric and adding a
variety of our own compatible fabrics. The
label on the back reflects Gwen's celebration
of 30 years of marriage and Christmas 2007.
The quilt was a gift for her husband, Ross and
is evocative of the landscape of Texas.
