Lynda Nesenholtz allowed us to make
this quilt for her daughter Dinah. The
"confetti" look of multicolored
cornerstones brings energy to this
piece.

Stephanie and Tyson Cutrer
commissioned us to make this quilt
from their T-Shirts as a remembrance
of their University of Texas
cheerleading and football experiences
respectively. This quilt has lots of
bells and whistles - custom borders,
appliqued patches, an appliqued
longhorn on the back and little
longhorns in the cornerstones.
Molly Ogorzaly made this T-shirt quilt
for her daughter and we quilted it
using a "hearts and stars" pattern.
When Jan Yeonopolus gave us 12 of her
daughter's T-shirts and carte blanche on the
design, we were thrilled. The only requirements
were that we not make the front red, white, and
blue, and that we use the Purdue University
fabric on the back. We loved the caramel and
black fabric combinations we eventually found at
Austin Sewing and Vacuum in Round Rock.
They complemented the Purdue fabric. Since
most of the T-shirts related to Jan's daughter
Meredith Counts' band memories, we quilted a
musical theme in the borders. Our talented
friend B.J. Cormier personalized one of the
blocks with embroidery. And we had Laurie
Thomas with "It's a Quilting Thing" digitize the
cute chaparrals in the sashing which we then
stitched out on our Statler.
Judy Wooten took a class in our studio
on making T-shirt quilts. She finished
her quilt! Congratulations, Judy.
Great work. The quilting design is
Coxcomb.
Michelle Livemore commissioned this quilt for her
brother, Michael Brooks. The quilt provides a
collection of Michael's experiences in the U.S.
Army. Quilting is Plumes, designed by Kim
Diamond.
Sarah Caddell wanted to gather her sorority Tshirts
into a quilt. She personally selected some
gorgeous fabrics for the project. The quilting
pattern is "Classy Curls" --one of our new favorites.
