We love Vickie McGee's quilt. The large
white side-setting triangles gave us a
blank slate for Kim Diamond's Turkish
Bouqet pattern. We think it is very
compatible with the quilt top design.

Kerry Olson and the women who helped her make this
Round Robin quilt really outdid themselves so of course,
we had to do the same. Kerry's spunky medallion set the
stage for the borders that surround it. We free-motioned
around the wool applique and just had to add the
computerized boots design around the outer borders.
After all the fun we had working with this applique center,
we just have this to say--we are ready for more applique
quilts--"BRING IT ON! LOL."

by Osie Lebowitz. To honor the
intricacy of this pattern we spent about
30 hours on the custom quilting.

Emsud Horozovic is the Manager of the City of Round
Rock's Forestry Department with extensive expertise and
appreciation of trees. This quilt top, made by his friend,
Dale Rickels, reflects Emsud's interests and knowledge.
We continued the theme by quilting pine cone borders,
"talking trees with crystal eyes" in the border corners.

Carol Hoag provided us an opportunity to quilt our first
flannel quilt--the vibrant colors are gorgeous on this quilt
and Carol got a lot of positive response when she
presented it at the Chisholm Trail Quilt Guild.

Sue Revell found this beautiful Dresden Plate quilt in a
chest and believes it was made by her great
grandmother. The fabrics appear to be mostly from the
1930s. As is true of so many of these heirlooms, the
quilt had some fraying at the edges, so we added
borders to stabilize it and made pillow shams to match.
The quilting was customized including stitch in the ditch,
special quilting in the blocks and borders and more.

store, Mini-Stitches, to make this quilt top using a design
by Marilyn P. (sorry, Marilyn, we didn't want to misspell
your name! Marilyn is a regular teacher at the store.
