"The Sewing Basket" Quilting Retreat
Betty Moodt of "The Sewing Basket" Quilt Store held a weekend Quilting
Retreat in Belton in December, just in time for 10 dedicated quilters to get
together to work on their unfinished projects. The retreat was held at
Summer's Mill Conference Center and the facilities were perfect. It was cold
enough to keep a fire going in our sewing room and participants sewed
night and day, sleeping as the need required. We made some wonderful
new friends who inspired us with their talent.
